Play your podcast from your web site
There is a great player, that has an unfortunate name, that will play your podcast feed from your website. It’s called PuPuPlayer. From their site you can create a link to their player with your podcast feed as the content. No downloading, no aggregators, no nothin’, just a click and people will be listening to your podcast. There is a free version and a pay version, ONLY $10, that gets you an ad-free version of the player. Yes, yes, the free version does contain an advertisement window. With the free version you can replace the image with your own logo or picture or whatever. Here’s a sample of the free player with one of my favorite podcasts, Verge of the Fringe:
