The Heil PR40 is hot!
I first heard of the Heil Sound company, and the Heil PR40, from podcast awards as prizes given to Adam Curry (Daily Source Code) and Leo Laporte (TWiT). I’ve also been listening to Mark Jensen of PodSqod Morning Edition. He also uses the Heil PR40 along with enough gear to choke a rhino. Why rhino, because their big. Anyway, the PR40 is a dynamic microphone, so it works with a larger number of mixers, including the ones that don’t have phantom power.
