| how does the behringer fca202 record | The Behringer FCA202 doesn’t record anything. It is basically an external sound card that connects to the computer by firewire. It provides an two inputs, output and headphone port. Use it with a mixer to get the audio into the computer. |
| skype recording without echo | Ah yes, the echo that is produced when Skype recording is not setup correctly is maddening. Also I’ve never heard people on the other end of the phone more giddy with laughter than when they hear themselves in an echo . Something about it is just hilarious. Though nothing about it is funny when you’re trying to record a Skype phone interview. I explained how to record Skype calls on a previous post. |
| what cables come with the xm8500 mic? | No cables come with the Behringer XM8500 microphone. A cable with a female XLR connector on the microphone end needs to be purchased. The connection on the other end will depend on what you’re connecting it to. Normally this will be a male XLR connector to connect to a mixer. It could also be a 1/4″ TRS for connection to a portable recorder. |
