New Media for Kids
Check out these Singapore kids producing audio and video content through their school.

I’m thinking it’s way past time to introduce podcasting to my son’s school. He’s already recording his own podcast with Audacity. It’s just the producer’s fault (me) for not getting the episodes out. Quote from the article is below:
“It is fun using the podcast studio and I’m glad to have a podcast studio in my school,” said Primary 6 student Ashiqulbari.
How much would it take to setup a podcast studio at your child’s school? Not much, you might donate your old equipment to get the project started. Then pick one day a week or every two weeks and have the children record their stories, school news, etc. The kids could also learn to hand code the RSS/XML as part of the calss. What a great way to introduce programming as well.
Think about it.
