Podcast of the Week: Mahalo Daily
If you are fan of Buzz Out Loud, the CNET podcast, you’re probably familiar with the host of this week’s Podcast of the Week. It’s Veronica Belmont, and the podcast is Mahalo Daily.
I don’t subscribe to many video podcasts. It takes a lot more effort to create a good video podcast than an audio one and most of them miss the mark for me. I’m willing to take a look at new ones, but so far I have a half dozen or so on the Mac Mini that I watch on a regular basis. Also, when a video podcast calls itself “daily” I don’t expect much. Fortunately Mahalo Daily delivers the goods.
Mahalo Daily is exactly the type of video podcast that I would create if:
1) I did’t have to worry about a day job, mortgage, food, or
B) If I had a face for video instead of one for audio.
Luckily for us, the viewers, Mahalo Daily is Veronica Belmont’s day job and she has the looks for video. The show is produced about 4 times a week and covers topics that are of interest to users of Mahalo.com. The topics are very diverse from yo-yo championships, how to drink, deep frying a turkey, CES coverage, dog training, and the latest episode, which I haven’t seen yet, a tour of a space junkyard. Each episode is entertaining and informative.
