Recording Screencasts with Camtasia Studio
I found this video via the New Media Expo Newsletter. They included some how-to links in the newsletter. One was how to record screencasts with Camtasia Studio. The video was created as part of the web site Demogirl.com. If you have something to share and don’t have the ability to do regular video, i.e. sit in front of a camera, you can convey that information with a screencast. This video does a nice job of explaining the process from start to finish. Camtasia Studio is not cheap at $299, but with the addition of the studio to cut together your final screencast and the Flash rendering it will take the place of multiple separate programs.
I will, in an upcoming post, list some of the free products that can give you the functionality of the Camtasia Studio. It won’t be as easy, but it will be freeeee! Meanwhile enjoy the video.

Hi, I enjoy your site a lot but couldn’t fint a way to contact you directly. Would you please, please, please, please consider removing the SnapShots hovers from your links? They are *incredibly* annoying to the point that I will not use a site that has them.
