Behringer Podcast Studio Bundle

UPDATE (2/26/08):I’m updating this post because of two things. Number 1, it’s one of the most searched for item here on the blog and I posted about it over a year ago. Number 2, the price of the Podcast Studio Bundle with Firewire is now $180. One caveat, as mentioned in a recent post, if you are planning on using Skype as part of your podcast, get either an auxiliary USB audio device, or choose the USB Podcast Studio.

Hi I am a complete amature at this.
what im looking for is a product thats inexpensive to record my voice over some backing tracks (mp3) the usb version seems to have less controls on the mixer and im just wondering if reverb function is available on both. i have a laptop with only usb connectors.. i live in ireland and im looking for as much info as possible before purchase. once again im not familiar with recording vocabulary and really all im looking for is a quality recording device that will make the most of my voice i.e reverb…thanks in advance
